"Tonglu is at the end of Qiantang River, with clear streams and green mountains looking down the paintings", it is a sentence by Wei Zhuang, a famous poet in the Tang dynasty describing Tonglu. Tonglu, a shining bright pearl on the Fuchun River, Is situaed at the hub of the key tourist line at the national level, the line of West lake-Fuchun river-Xinan river-Qiandao lake (Yellow mountain) with unique natural scene; and at the northwestern part of Zhejiang province, the southern suburb of Hangzhou city, the upper reach of Qiantang river with only 80Km from the downtown of Hang-zhou. Tonglu is also one of the counties opening outward approved by the state council.

Tonglu County, a place endowed with supernatural talents, with simple folk custom, long cultural history, is a famous tourist resort in the country. After entering the new century, Tonglu, with its economy developed and market flourished, became a hotter land or the investors than ever.

Tonglu economic development zone, belonging to　Zhejiang provincial economic development zone, is situated at the beautiful southern bank of Fuchun river, closely connected with the 320 state highway, covering a total area of 21.5 square meters with the developed area of 4.64 square meters during the first phase and that 6.4 square meters during the second phase.
