Health Bureau of Zhejiang Province used to be the Department of Health, administered by Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. Approved by Zhejiang Provincial People¡¯s Government, Health Bureau of Zhejiang Provincial People¡¯s Government was set up in August 1949. located in Minsheng Road of Hangzhou City£¬it was one of the components of Provincial Government. Under the approval of Zhejiang Provincial People¡¯s Committee in May 1955, it changed its name to Health Bureau of Zhejiang Province. Authorized by Zhejiang Provincial Revolutionary Committee in April 1970, it was renamed to Health Bureau of Productive Commanding Team of Zhejiang Provincial Revolutionary Committee. In October 1975, it changed its name to Department of Health of Zhejiang Province. In May 1980, Zhejiang Provincial People¡¯s Government renamed it to Health Bureau of Zhejiang Province. Health Bureau of Zhejiang Province is one of the departments of Provincial Government. It provides administration over healthcare services across the province.
