Brief introduction of Fuyang

Fuyang, also called as Fuchun in old times, once one of the thirty-six districts in Qin Dynasty, is located in the southwest of Hangzhou city. It has an area of 1,830 square kilometers and a population of 620,000. As one of first coastal cities approved to open up to the outside world, Fuyan today is the 38th of the top 100 counties in China in its comprehensive development.

The hi-tech zone insists on the goal of upgrading its products. During the tenth five-year plan, emphasis will be put on technical innovation and larger investment, to attain the systematical production of optical bat, optical fiber, optical cable, and optical components. Some sino-American Fuchunjiang Loyal Optical Fiber Manufacture Corporation entered the Park in the beginning of the year 2001, with the total investment more than US $ 23 million.

FCJEDZ so far today has spent 650 million RMB on the infrastructure and service facilities, such as water, electricity, gas, road, and safe networks. Meanwhile, many cooperative treaties have been signed between FCJEDZ and Hangzhou Electronic Engineering Institute, the Office of Technology, and the Office of information industry in the province separately, so as to obtain support in technology, talents, knowledge and information, and so on. Management committee Function

The management committee of developing zone is the agency of city People's Government, trusts to lead and manage the developing zone by city People's Government. Its main duty is: Carry out the relevant laws, regulation and policy of country, province, Hangzhou; make and implement the regional overall planning of developing zone, plan in detail; infrastructure construction in the developing zone and managing; invite outside investment and projects are examined and approve to; collect and return of the fee, including remised fee and expropriation fee, land paid use fee; state-run assets are supervised and managed; management, supervision, coordinating and service of the enterprise production and management in the district; the social transaction management in the district.
