Located in Zhapu Town, Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province, Jiaxing Export Processing Zone has a total planning area of 2.99 square kilometers. Jiaxing Export Processing Zone, which is still under construction, is approved by the State Council, and will be a special area under customs supervision. A new customs clearance mode will be adopted, which features one declaration to the customs, one review of documents, one inspection of commodities at customs and 24-hour customs declaration service. Not only can enterprises in the zone enjoy convenience in customs clearance, but also preferential policies that are formulated for export processing zones alone, such as tax exemption and reduction. The construction of municipal infrastructures, including ˇ°seven accesses and site-levelingˇ±, will be completed; and Customs, Bureau of Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine, banks, transport agencies and warehouses, etc. will also be set up in the zone. With all these facilities and services, enterprises settled in the zone can go through all the import/export procedures in the zone.
