Pharmaceutical industry is one of the key leading industries supported by Zhejiang Provincial government. According to the statistics collected from the 234 enterprises within the statistical coverage in this line, the gross value of industrial output in 2005 amounted to RMB35.95 billion, or an increase of 11.7% over the last year; the sales value of industry amounted to RMB34.45 billion, or an increase of 11.3%; the achieved profits amounted to RMB35.4 billion, or an increase of 10.1%; the export value of the goods amounted to RMB10.72 billion, or an increase of 4.8%. All the major economic indicators remain at the forefront in the national pharmaceutical industry.

    Key Products include finished products such as 21 Vitamins, Qing Chun Bao Anti-aging tablets, Shengmai injection, Zenapax, Bailing capsule, Finasteride, Zocor, Tienam, Cozaar, Kanglaite injection, Tiepi Fengdou granule/capsule, SF tubings, Levofloxacin Lactate Injection, Pule’an Tablet, Azlocillin, disposable syringes, etc., and more than 30 raw material medicines such as Quinolones-type anti-infective drugs, pril-type medicines, statin-type medicines, steroid hormone drugs, anthracene-loop-type antibiotics and anti-tumor medicines, carbamazepine, cephalosporin, and VE, etc., the annual sale revenue of which exceeded 100 million Yuan.
