Tonight, more than 2,000 guests and viewers at home and abroad gathered at the central square of Hangzhou Binjiang Avenue of Stars to witness the opening of the 11th China Hangzhou West Lake International Expo.

The number of programs arranged for this Expo hits a record high of 121, including conferences, exhibitions, festivals and so on, of which 48 projects will be held during the Expo. The projects this year, compared with previous years, will be more exciting, such as the West Lake Fireworks Show will not only return to West Lake, but also be held along the Grand Canal for the first time. And people will be more involved in various activities, since many new programs closely related to people¡¯s livelihood will be launched, such as the Wedding Expo, Quality Life Fair, and the Home Furnishing Expo.
