The eighth Zhejiang Provincial Congress of Taiwan Compatriots opened in Hangzhou yesterday. Xia Baolong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, addressed the conference. Liang Guoyang, Chairman of All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots, extended congratulations to the conference and delivered a speech.

119 representatives of Taiwan compatriots from all over the province attended the meeting. The eighth Council of Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Taiwan Compatriots will be elected in the conference.
