Trade unions at all the levels in Zhejiang have been attaching great importance to the development of harmonious labor relations and the protection of workersĄŻ legal rights. According to the provincial Federation of Trade Unions, by the end of 2011, 92,700 wage agreements have been signed across Zhejiang. The agreements involved 186,000 companies and 10,300,000 employees. Among all the companies with trade unions, over 90% have established the collective wage negotiation mechanism.
