Jin Deshui, male, was born in May, 1951 in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. A postgraduate from the Party School of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and a senior economist, he joined the Communist Party of China in August 1982 and began his professional career in September 1970. Jin served successively as director of machine repair workshop, section chief of supply and marketing, director of enterprise management office, director of technology innovation office, Vice Director-general, Director-general of Lanxi Monosodium Glutamate Factory. He then served as Vice Director of Economic Commission of Lanxi City, Standing Member of the Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Lanxi City, Vice Secretary and Secretary of Lanxi Municipal Party Committee, Mayor of Lanxi City, Vice Director-general of the Planning and Economy Commission of Zhejiang Province, Director-general and Party Secretary of the Industrial & Commercial Bureau of Zhejiang Provincial Government, Director-general and Party Secretary of the Economic and Trade Commission of Zhejiang Provincial Government, Vice Party Secretary, Vice Mayor and Acting Mayor of Ningbo City, Vice Party Secretary, Mayor, and Party Secretary of Ningbo City. He was Representative to the 10th National PeopleĄŻs Congress. Jin was elected Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province in April 2004. |
