industry, as one of the pillar industries of Zhejiang Province, generates a
total output of RMB 35.95 billion, sales revenues of RMB 34.45 billion, profits
of RMB 3.54 billion and an export value of RMB 10.72 billion in 2005 which are
an increase of 11.7%, 11.3%, 10.1% and 4.8% over those of year 2004
respectively. Major economic indexes continue to lead the country.
